Hello,
I am so excited that I finally found out, I was accepted into Guiding Eyes. I will be in the 01-03-06 class. What a way to start a new year. I just received the call a few minutes ago. Time to celebrate.

Congradulations. Guiding Eyes is where I got my dog almost 10 years ago, and I can't say which is worse; New York in the dead of winter or summer...I went in June of 96. *smile* If I ever do apply to get another guide dog I think I'm going to try for fall or spring. LOL.

Hey, congratulations. Is this your first dog? I've gotten both of my dogs from there. I went first in Jne 2002, where I received a female yellow lab named Katerina. She worked for about a year, when she realized it was more fun being a pet and wor stressed her out, so she retired and is now home with the family. I went back in January 2004, and now have my second dog, another female yellow lab named Olivia. My current dog absolutely loves to work, to the point that if there are a few days when we can't work, she goes absolutely nuts. She gets bored easily, hehehe. I really like Guiding Eyes, they're an extended family to me, and I always look forward to the year Walkathon fundraiser. Anyway, congratulations again, and good luck! Keep us posted, and feel free to contact me should you have any questions or anything.
